A Mild Winter Means More Bugs
As spring approaches and the weather warms up, the pest populations start to emerge. The South Texas “rollercoaster” weather is easy on the critters that have to survive outside.
We can easily see temperatures swing from hard freezes to very moderate in the span of a week. As a result of this moderate winter weather, the various pests can survive by hiding under rocks, in leaf mulch and even under low lying vegetation.
As in all home maintenance, the best time to address a problem is before there is a problem. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound cure.
