Spring Rains Mean More Bugs

Thank you lord for the rain! Unfortunately, with the rain and the warmer temperatures as spring advances, the insects that have been dormant will start to become active.¬†This increased activity can include stinging bugs like scorpions, wasps and fire ants, as well as the ‘biters’ like fleas, ticks and mosquitoes.

Mosquitoes in particular become more active in wet weather, and they can make life outdoors miserable, especially for those of us that are ‘mosquito magnets’.¬†Also, the mosquito can transmit encephalitis, malaria, yellow fever, dengue fever, west nile virus and can even transmit heart worms to our pets.

For relief this year, contact Bulverde Pest Control for more information.
